Privacy Policy

Divine Comfort · Last updated June 9, 2026

Divine Comfort is built to be private by default. The Bible text, the AI companion, your journal, and your prayers all live on your device. There is no account to create, and we — the developer — do not run a server that receives, stores, or analyzes what you type, feel, or save.

What we do not collect

On-device only

Your reflections are processed by an AI model running entirely on your iPhone. The app functions with no network connection. Optional features that use Apple’s own services — iCloud syncing of your prayer space, or “Pray Together” private sharing — are handled by Apple under Apple’s Privacy Policy and stay within your own iCloud account and the people you explicitly invite. We never see that data.

Purchases

The optional one-time “Full Access” unlock is a digital purchase processed by Apple via the App Store. We receive only Apple’s standard, anonymized sales reports — never your payment details.

Keepsakes (physical orders)

If you choose to order a physical keepsake, we collect only what is needed to charge and ship that one order: your name, shipping address, optional email, and the product/verse selected. Payment is handled by Apple Pay and our payment processor, Stripe — we never see or store your card number. Order and shipping details are shared with our print-on-demand fulfillment partner, Printful, solely to produce and deliver your order. This information is used only for fulfillment and is never used for advertising or tracking.

Crisis resources

If the app detects language suggesting self-harm, it shows publicly available crisis hotline information. Tapping a hotline uses your phone’s dialer or browser; the app does not report that you did so to anyone.

Children

Divine Comfort is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date above and post the revised policy here.
